UltraNova PatchesMoogDriveStereALAlexander J. Olsen
Moog type sound, square, triangle, and a wavetable osc. Unison detuning, filter and vsync aftertouch, multiple mod wheel assignments including a stereo panning tied to LFO rates, rectify distortion (i know i know..diode would have been more accurate but it was making some strange clipping) No tweaks or touches added, change them as you like!
Inspired by Eric Whitacre's vocal arrangement "Lux Aurumque" with some obvious synthesis enhancements. Try playing the opening passage with this patch.

Organ and triangle based patch with delay, phaser filter sweeps assiged to LFO's, and vsyncs assigned to mod wheel. Chord activated creates a maj7 chord so you can use it to emphasize major key changes. FilterRes on after-touch. Touch mods are a bit lacking, almost out of slots left a few empty for you to tweak. Filter's attached to LFO2+/- set at 16th intervals creates interesting stepping during sustained notes. Also, mod wheel fully open sets to infinite delay feedback, interesting to blast fully on during a quick-run solo for a few bars.
A poly1 wave-table patch designed for staccato and quick licks. LFO one controls index and is a one shot, so each new keystrike gives you next wave table. Dive bomb octave after touch, mod wheel fully open emphasizes percussiveness. Chord unit set up to add an extra layer of depth.
Built off a the joanna bells patch but transformed. Hold after touch with caution causes intense feedback! Please add some additional mods or touches if you'd like I was having a hard time finding ones I liked. try in poly mode with chord active as well.

Very similar to wheelwobambience but has a different take on mods. Most of the comments from wheelwobambience hold true here, but try mod wheel fully open, with after touch engaged. noise is tied to the slow growth on oscillator 3! To control the noise with aftertouch hold touch 2 and experiment with different pressures. If this patch is too intense deactivate the chord, it has intervals of octaves, P4's, and P5's so it will retain root qualities but can be overwhelming.

An up-front ambient pad. Mod wheel creates an thick leslie/rotary sound (just slightly faster than any real leslie could hope to be!) that sounds even stranger when after touch is depressed at full speed. Touch 1 creates a sound that more definitive for leads. Activating chord also creates a huge lead tone that retains root note, but adds perfect 5ths, 4ths, and octaves. touch 2 is noise. Leave in lower octaves since after touch creates scooped filter dip. Try after touch with chord activated and slowly increase mod wheel while pressing touch 2 activated! (leave in lower octave for filters to function properly since they go negative with after touch)

play very short staccato for a pad type marimba tone. hold notes for a penetrating triple saw osc's that drift through the delay for the following moments. After touch only works with mod wheel fully open. Touch 4 is a ton of fun when emphasizing the saw waves with after touch. Why 3 saw osc with no detuning? the pitch wheel has a different influence on each
A jazzy mono EP tone with delay, press after-touch to add a harsh diode distortion and cut through the mix. Two ep_bell osc and one triangle makes it work well in both upper and lower octaves. Touch 3 and 4 add additional distortions to create a guitar-type lead. Mod wheel is osc2 vsync and osc1 pitch creates strange dissonance that still retains root note when rolled fully open. solo with mod wheel fully open or closed, middle ground for effects.
A clarinet type of jazzy solo with minimal tweaks required. Slight portament and V-sync on mod wheel so be very careful in upper octaves, try altering to lower during a solo then rolling up on mod wheel to about half-way
My first additive creation with UltraNova consisting of a sawtooth, a square, and a pulsewidth wave. Creates a "pulsing" sort of sound. Go figure, heh. Pretty raw with no modulations added, only a mild phase effect.
UltraNova Patches20 Ultranova Patches from LightfingerMatthew Hurtgen
This is a collection of 20 patches I created for the Novation Ultranova synthesizer. It is an ecclectic mix of sounds - pads, leads, crazy sfx and rhythmic stuff. I took time to program velocity, aftertouch, mod wheel, and at least 4 knobs of "Tweak" for
each one. I hope you enjoy them!
This little proof has the only purpose to explore the different sounds of each wave table, applying a triangle LFO to the value of the wave table index, without any interpolation. The wave table itself has to be changed manually as wave shape parameter cannot be modified by an LFO (as far as I know). To hear or visualise the rough waves by an oscillograph, no effect, no filter, no ADSR has been added.
UltraNova PatchesKeyboard split Pad + OrganFrode Heggelund
Example patch to show that the UltraNova is capable of keyboard split / multitimbral sounds. I didn't put much hart to make a good sound, it's only to give you the idea. There are plenty of free resources to use on the UltraNova to enhance the sound.
To get started all you need is 2 envelopes, 2 oscillators and 2 modulation slots, one for each part of the keyboard split. The rest can be used as you wish. You can even have one filter for the lower part and one for the upper part (using "parallel 2" routing)
Anyway, it's only a basic sound and it's configurability is limited. After all you only get half of the UltraNovas capabilities per part.
